Janet Tremer

Coaching since 1973, Janet Tremer’s experience ranges from first-step skaters to international and Olympic competitors. She has served the PSA as: Ratings Chair and examiner; Board of Governors member; faculty member for Ratings Prep and the Foundations of Coaching Course; conference, seminar, and workshop speaker, and host of PSA educational events. She also served as a committee and a faculty member for U.S. Figure Skating’s Basic Skills Sub-Committee. Janet is master rated in moves in the field, program director, and group instruction. Her additional ratings include senior figures and free skate, certified dance, registered choreography, and she holds Hockey I & II certificates. Janet earned a B.A. in English and a Secondary Teaching Certification from Muhlenberg College. She is currently the Director of Skating for the Bethlehem Skating School in Bethlehem, PA and the Jacksonville Ice and Sportsplex in Jacksonville, FL.
