Lindsay Slater




Lindsay is a doctoral candidate in Sports Medicine at the University of Virginia where she specializes in returning athletes to high-level sports after knee injury, particularly anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Lindsay completed her BA and BS at Miami University, where she skated on the varsity synchronized skating team for two years and completed her Masters in Movement Science at The University of Texas in Austin. Lindsay currently works with the U.S. Figure Skating Athlete High Performance Department with the S.T.A.R.S. program and collaborates with other figure skating researchers to correlate off-ice and on-ice performance with the goal of maximizing performance while minimizing injury risk in elite figure skaters.
