Hockey Skating Accreditation

Hockey Skating 1 & Hockey Skating 2 courses are designed to assist professional figure skating coaches transition into coaching hockey players. The courses consist of three parts each: the Hockey Skating (1 or 2) manual, classroom notes, and a 50 question exam. These courses were originally taught at the annual PSA conference and included multiple classroom lectures. The exams must be taken sequentially.

Hockey Skating Accreditation

HOCKEY SKATING 1: Course is designed to assist professional figure skating coaches transition into coaching hockey players. The course consists of three parts: the Hockey Skating 1 manual, classroom notes, and a 50 question exam. This course was originally taught at the annual PSA conference and included two 45-minute classroom lectures. The classroom notes will add additional information not covered in the manual and give a more in-depth discussion on other topics. The Hockey Skating 1 course is available on the E-Learning Academy.

HOCKEY SKATING 2: Course is designed to build upon the Hockey 1 course curriculum as it assists professional figure skating coaches transitioning into coaching hockey players. The course consists of three parts: the Hockey Skating 2 manual, classroom notes, and a 50 question exam. This course was originally taught at the annual PSA conference and included two 45-minute classroom lectures. The classroom notes will add additional information not covered in the manual and give a more in-depth discussion on other topics. The Hockey Skating 2 course is available on the E-Learning Academy.
